[It's early morning, and Simon's new self is out walking. Waking up in his tunnel was nothing unusual; he'd created one in order to stay out of the way, what with half of the residents forced to move- he hadn't wanted to take up space someone else needed.

...No, wait, he hadn't wanted to be around anyone else, right? That's it, that's how he ( Read more... )

[Gelda had fallen asleep in the barracks the previous day, after watching over a few more of the wounded. She'd just taken a quick nap in one of the beds, but then exhaustion kicked in and... well. Point is, she's awoken quite rudely by a certain someone. After rubbing the sleep out of her eyes and wondering briefly why something feels off today, she strides towards Simon to tell him off.]

Excuse me? Can I have a word with you? [She pauses, then adds:] Outside?

[Simon is not impressed by your tiny disgruntled self.]

I don't have to go outside just to talk.

A few people are still trying to sleep. Please, follow me outside.

[She gestures to the door. As nicely as she may have formulated her request, it was still a bit of an order.]

[...Did you just try to order him around? Because he's totally not following her. Like hell he wants to listen to some bitch try to lecture him like a child.]

[She'd use force, but... people are still trying to sleep. Plus, it's never smart to start a fight with someone in Luceti, so she'll just give up on trying to get him outside and instead work on getting her point across as quickly and quietly as possible. Sigh.]

It's good to hear the clinic has been fixed, but we need time to move the patients. Once we've finished with that, the barracks are all yours.

[At least she got the hint. He's still not exactly cooperative, though.]

That's why I'm saying you should start moving them! There's no point in waiting around.

Surely you understand it's a bit too early in the morning to force patients out of their beds.

The sun's practically up. That's enough daylight to start.

[Eager beaver, isn't he?]

We still need to inspect the clinic for ourselves and prepare it. Meanwhile, these people need as much sleep as they can get. We cannot wake them because one person needs to use the barracks for training.

[Yes, yes he is.]

I already checked the clinic, it looks fine. And the people here should stop being so lazy.

They aren't lazy, they're injured. Perhaps you should stop being so inconsiderate.

What about the clinic helpers? There's enough of them to move people. What's inconsiderate is wasting all this space for something it isn't even meant for.

We'll get to work as soon as everyone has had enough rest. However, we cannot force dozens of people out of bed because one person needs to use the barracks to train. You will have to wait.

Well, he could just blow it up, but that would defeat the purpose of using the barracks for practice. And killing everyone would just get more people all up in his face about it.

...UGH, FINE, HE'LL WAIT. Simon glares at her one final time before turning on his heel and stalking off. Just you wait. B|]
