I find that however I open my day affects the rest of my day. In my case, my morning is largely dependent on how the kids are doing getting up and ready for school, but when I'm driving them to their various destinations, I'm careful not to put on the news because--let's face it--it's not a good way to greet the morning. I was just looking at a couple TED stories that showed up on my feed. You're completely right!

Did you see the article with the interview to the artist in regards to limitations spurring creativity? Very good read.

The video that did it for me today was about the hunt for the giant squid, fed my brain and had me thinking about my WIP.

Yes, TED talks are awesome! I discovered that they have an app for the iPad, so now I watch talks while I wash the dishes. :) Informative and makes the chore much less boring!

Ooo! I found that we have our own channel on the Roku for when my kids have usurped my computer for homework, but I hadn't thought about listening to it during chores! Smart woman!
