While warning
ann_arien about the dangers of drabble addiction (and, yes, it does exist; I am surprised that the government hasn't started a coalition),
digdigil mentioned that she missed the daily drabble. Remember those days? When Dawn Felagund would spam your flists with a drabble every day

These are absolutely beautiful. I adore the last line of "The Fate of Flowers;" it made me just stop and absorb the emotion for a moment, it hit me so hard.
"The First Spring" is beautiful; I love the first day of spring! (BTW, that's when it actually feels like spring, to me; I don't care what the calender says, it's not spring here yet! I often get several first days of spring, interspersed with more winter. :-))
"Spring in Himring" is so how I feel now: cold fingers, seeing snow out the window, *trying* to write a thesis (see how well I'm doing?)... except I don't have a friend to come and cheer me up. :-( *is jealous*
And "Sunshine"! I used to cry at that song, too. Still do, at times, actually. I didn't like it then, because it made me cry, but I value tears more now. But that was absolutely beautiful.
*is very tempted to join in the daily drabbling* I know I don't have time, but... but... We'll see.
Thanks for sharing these!

I love the first day of Spring too, even though Maryland rarely enjoys springlike weather on this day. (Last week, however, it got up into the '80s! o.O) But there's just so much to look forward to; I love this moment of having all of spring and all of summer still stretched before me, all full of possibility.
*sentimental squee*
I never knew that "You Are My Sunshine" was so universally loved...or believed to be sad by people other than me. :) Here, I thought I was weird! :^D
I hope that you can join the daily drabble on occasion! Believe me, I understand about busyness--hence the fact that the daily drabble just took a four month break--but when you can find the time and inspiration, I'd love to read what you come up with!
