Snow!

Feb 13, 2006 10:41

Well, here I am at work, so Maryland has managed to recover from the snow in a somewhat reasonable fashion. (Although most schools are closed today, since they couldn't get the lots cleared in time.) At the conclusion of the storm, Columbia had twenty-one inches (53 cm), and Columbia is about five miles away from us, so that's a good estimate of ( Read more... )

snow, daily life

LMAO

That shivering little star with the hat is absolutely adorable. I wanted to use the stars (because they all look different for different moods... go figure), but I didn't want to copy you. So I'm stuck with lemons, who apparently look the same whether they're happy or crappy. :-P

Gawd he's cute though. :-D Shiver little guy, shiver!

You can use the stars too! There is a paucity of star mood themes on my flist! Everyone has LotR. :)

I'm not allowed, I get wrong for copying people. Your sister is very strict :-P

I got the creepy looking goth girl, 'cause I didn't want to copy anybody... ;)

Much of my flist has the LotR mood theme that Juno made. I love it, but I see it so often that I--like you and my sister and my future sister-in-law--don't want to copy anyone!

Still, I maintain to all of you, if you like the stars, use them. Sharon is right in that they are the only one I've found yet that seems to actually accurately represent emotions.

(Except it uses the "full" star for weird emotions, like "apathetic." But the little shivery star and the little hungry star.... *huggles*)

Why am I rambling about this? Alina, I've got a disease.... ;^P

Lol, when I made that comment about ending up with the Goth girl I was just kidding and trying to get people's attention to the creepy Goth girl. I like her, even if she does not represent me much, but she does not have many faces for all those moods. So... I improvise.

And rambling is not a disease... 'cause if it is, I'm sick too

You can use the stars too! They're public domain and come in a variety of colors. And they are the best!

Yet no one really uses the stars, for some reason. I've only ever had one friend who used the stars, and she (incidentally) was the only person to ever defriend me! Yay me! :^D

If you had a paid account, you could always create a custom Erica Christensson (I know I bungled that name) mood theme.... >:^))

Oh I know I caaan use the stars, but they're "yours." I might though; my lemons are cute, but it bugs the heck out of me that they all look the same.

Please use the stars. Just promise not to defriend me!

(It was kind of landmark, like, "Hey, I'm significant enough in LJ Land to have someone actually defriend me! Not just ignore my postings but go through the process of removing me from their flist! Actually, I might have defriended her first. I don't recall.)

Anyway. I thought you might set aside your miserly ways and spare two bucks a month for hott Erica action.... ;^))
