Pie Porn!

Last night, I began working on my dessert project for the Super Bowl. I was a bit torn over what I wanted to do: my traditional cake decorated like a football field? An ice cream cake or pie with both team logos? Or a chocolate-caramel ice cream pie

Thank you! As it turned out, the pie was quite delicious. As for the confectioner...she was cranky because the team she wanted didn't win. ;)

Thank you...on both. :) The picture of me was taken over the holidays, when I made about twenty pounds of holiday candy. I think I look slightly manic...and for a good reason!

I think that, if you had me over there when the pie was ready, you would have hardly had the chance to take a picture. I would have been picking on those delicious footballs. I just luuuv chocolate and caramel. That's one yummy masterpiece. Compliments to the artist who does not look scary at all. In fact, you look cute and amused, even though those days were probably hella-busy.

It certainly didn't last long after being put out at halftime! And you would have been in luck: I had about eight footballs left over after decorating the pie, so I probably would have attempted to lure you away with those. ;)

I still maintain that I look rather scary...but maybe that's because I know that I was trying to look silly when Bobby snuck up on me with the camera. It amuses me to think that if Nelyo's takes off, that will be the first picture of me working on the business and will probably be somewhere in my store. Oh well...I'm not much of the serious type, as I'm sure you've figured out. ;)

And "hella-busy" pretty much describes that time! I still can't believe that I made all of that candy...and wrote all of those stories...and... *hides from next Christmas*
