AMC--Chapter Twenty-Seven

I'm going to try to keep this short, for once.

I'm going to rate the chapter for general audiences, although there are some mild mentions of sexuality.

Comments and criticisms are always welcome.

Thank you for reading!

(Oh, and Friday's posting: Feanaro's PoV. Eru help us all....)

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! *MUSH*

That chapter made me sniffle, then laugh, then sniffle, then turn to mush again. I wonder if Fëanor has any idea how intimidating he appears to Maglor... I like Maglor's way of looking at him, though. "Easily hurt" - it's quite a contrast with how he is seen sometimes, as just a bad temper on two legs!

I am so so glad Fëanor is finding patience with Maglor and letting Maglor really start to enjoy their conversations and meetings. Seeing them together, when they are both happy and both enjoying it...it's incredibly touching, actually! It's a pity it ended not as well as it could, but there is hope yet, I suppose.

The banter between Maglor and Maedhros is very cute - it's sweet how Maedhros manages to shock and mildly disgust Maglor with his ideas when it's probably likely that in not so very long, Maglor will be hardly better. Robes without underwear, indeed! *dies laughing*

Now I want to know if he succeeded in proposing to Annawendë or whether he chickened out! They are so adorable together, I do hope he went through with it!

Oh, and Fingon on the harp...that was SO, SO moving and lovely. The more I see of him, the more excited I get about seeing him when he grows up and the more I look forward to watching the friendship between him and Maedhros grow!

I doubt that Feanor realizes. He's in his own little world much of the time, it seems. He says or does something and only much later realizes the ramifications. Of course, this turns out very dangerous later on....

I honestly think that much of Feanor's behavior stems from him being hurt easily. From a very young age, confusing things happened in his life that must have hurt, like Miriel's death and his father's remarriage. His temper, I think, is just a way to cover how pained he was by all of this. Macalaure kind of sees right through him here. :)

Hey, boys will be boys, right? Elven or not! :^D

Well, it seems there's two Feanor chapters and then, I suppose, I'll have no choice but to let you all find out exactly what happened. >:^]

I'm so heartened to hear that people actually care about my OCs. My OCs are such a worry to me, especially Annawende. Here, by now, I thought people might be rooting for them to break up. (Maybe they are and just aren't telling me!)

Thank you! The response to wee Fingon has been such that I'm getting nervous about writing him as an adult, lest I not do him justice. Of course, I got some practice last night, writing an adult Fingon for a certain someone's holiday gift.... ;^)
