I'm going to rate the chapter for general audiences, although there are some mild mentions of sexuality.

Maglor's and Maedhros's different opinions on the nature of love were also very interesting, but somewhat overshadowed for me because I suddenly got scared while I was reading that bit that you're going to get around the 'appeared' thing by killing off Annawende. Ridiculous speculation, I know, but I really hope that you don't - she's a great character!

It will be another week before you all get to learn how Nelyo's proposal went. Friday's chapter is Feanor, and he remains clueless about Nelyo's plans until the very end. Actually, Feanor might have two chapters--I can't remember--so it might be a week-and-a-half.

However, I am very flattered that my OFC is worth worrying about. OFCs are scary to write, for me anyway. That goes for fanfic and original fic, incidentally, which is especially weird considering that original fic has only OFCs!

With the tiny amount about the Feanorians in the Silm anyway, and practically nothing pre-oath except about Feanor himself, they were always going to need more story about them in a fic four times as long as the Silm for only one year of their lives.

*blushes* Is it that long? I guess it is....

Yeah, within every canon event, I manage to insert five non-canon subplots. And since this whole story is based only on the spirit of The Sil versus actual events, that gives me a whole lot of non-canon.
