Congrats! Maybe one day, I'll be as lucky as you are. :-)

Cute! I love the colour of the dress, it looks good on you. Your hair *gasp* lovely!

And you know, before you know it... you're married for more then six years and you think sometimes it could have happened yesterday :) My hubby asked me to marry him within a couple of days after we realised we actually could be together (with no others in the way)... so enjoy every day woman!

Thank you! :) Yes, it has taken me years to get my hair Elven-looking enough for my tastes. ;) I haven't cut it in years (although my mom occasionally makes me sit on her counter so that she can cut my split ends.)

I can't believe that Bobby and I are coming up on our ten-year anniversary. It seems like just yesterday we were having our first dance in high school; just yesterday, we were graduating. I've no doubt that tomorrow, we'll be married ten years. ;)

I do enjoy every day with him, and I am thankful, too, for being fortunate enough to find him. :)

Really like an elf.

*blushes* Thank you :) All I need are the ears! Mine are so hopelessly round. ;)

Marriage is a bridge that has to be rebuilt every day.
From both sides.

What a beautiful saying! And how true!

I think sometimes: Bobby and I have been together for 40% of our lives. We have been best friends for that long, barely spent a day apart, said "I love you" nearly every day of it. I wonder, how can that seem like just yesterday and like we've known each other an eternity at the same time?

I wish you many happy and productive year building this bridge!

Thank you so very much. *hugs*

Well, I guess that proves that there can be at least some genetic mutation in elves!! ;)

Congratulations!!! :D

Ad you look wonderful in the "burgundy", so no worries if you wear reds all the time!!

And I can't believe you're just now eating the cake!!
Of course, this could be because I am deprived of good food!

Thank you! :D

And I can't believe you're just now eating the cake!!

Well, I had a taste at the wedding...but a combination of excitement and overwhelming quantities of Timbuktu food assured that I could not eat much. ;)

It was good...even a year later. :)

Ah well, overwhelming quantities of good food is a good excuse!! And good to know that cake will keep in the freezer for such a long time! *mental note to self*

Yes, it's apparently a tradition to keep the top tier of one's wedding cake in the freezer until the first anniversary. I didn't know that, I don't think, until I got married and was told I had to do that.

(Luckily, the top tier went in the freezer right away and so wasn't subjected to the wrath that was Evan! :D)
