Wow! Need to get cracking and am having trouble waking up this morning.
(Or alternatively, you could come to Brooklyn Friday night and I would feed any or all of you.)

My train comes into Penn Station at around 6:30 on Friday evening. I don't know the feasibility of making it over to Brooklyn on that schedule; you would know better! :) I'd imagine it's far, especially during rush hour?

I still shudder to remember being stuck alone in one of the more remote outskirts of Mexico City at 2:00 a.m. in a driving rain and not sure if the combi (a converted VW microbus--usually blasting rancheros--that picks up and lets off passengers along a route) I was waiting for even operated at night. From 34TH ST - PENN STATION
A train (EXPRESS)
Take the LEFFERTS BLVD-OZONE PARK bound
Train departing at 6:35 PM (not exact--they come when they come, but frequently at this time!) ( ... )

(Editing to add that the closest I had to the combi experience was also on the DC Metro. Bobby and I had gone into town to see a concert at the 9:30 Club, which is a very well know venue in DC. When the show was over, we ran full speed to the Metro station and barely made the last train. What city has public transport that closes so early that it's nearly impossible to use for a concert at a major venue?! A whack city like DC I ( ... )

(Of course, NYC is a bit of an easier trip for me than for you, although not as easy for me anymore as it was! :)
I am video recording our presentation, so everyone who can't make it in person can be there vicariously.
