Scrod! I think the name sounds worse than it tastes. It sounds like cod's dirty cousin. The restaurant where I used to work had its headquarters in New England and so had scrod on the menu. Before I stopped eating meat, I used to enjoy the fish sandwich at that restaurant quite a bit.
The only thing missing from "Crabs for Christmas" is the obligatory "hon"! :D
I'm going to check out the Real Housewives now. I could use some vulgar humor in my life right now!
You can download it on iTunes now, so I feel like I've heard it every day since Thanksgiving, as it's on Bobby's holiday playlist!
We listened to WLIF for a day and a half straight, though, for their commercial-free Christmas music, and I didn't hear them play it once! That must be a new record.
Merry Christmas to you too, Russa. *hugs* It was a good one here. I was down with a cold yesterday, so I lacked my usual energy, but had fun nonetheless. :)

Speaking of regional holiday stuff, I stumbled across The Real Housewives of South Boston - A Christmas Special, about 6 minutes spoofing Southie stereotypes. Vulgar, quite vulgar, but yes, I laughed.
