Hey, football isn't all fat guys! My son Jamie is a wide receiver, and he's six foot four, and weighs about 185 lbs. Yeah, tall and skinny, but he's only 18, and has a lot of growing to do. He's all legs, and can run like the wind.
Sorry your baseball game experience sucked. It could be worse. You could live in Toronto and have to live down the Blue Jay experience. Not to mention that we don't have an NFL team (yet!), so we have to suffer through the CFL *gags*, and every Sunday during NFL season we get only Bills games on CBS (I think it's CBS), although because of that I have come to like the Bills. Especially when Doug Flutie quarterbacked them, which is why I like San Diego now, except I think Flutie has retired. He once played in the CFL too. He also has his own rock band, and he invented a cereal called "Flutie Flakes" (LOL!), but I've never tried them!
LOL, I love your icon! Dawn, I wanted to ask you a question. If you accidentally post something to your own LJ but you had wanted to post it in the SWG LJ, can you change it afterwards? (I did that and couldn't find a way to get back and re-post it, but realize it may not be possible.)

Thanks! My pal Harry Potter and I made it on Sunday. That is my "pet" unicorn. His name is Nelyo :D

Yes, I do this all the time with my RPG! The way I do it (and there is probably an easier way, but this works) is to go to the entry I accidentally mis-posted. Click on "Edit Entry" (the wee blue pencil between the green arrow buttons). When it opens the window for editing, copy the whole entry. Now, go to "Update Journal." Select silwritersguild under "Post To." Paste the entry you just copied into the space for writing, title it, etc., post it, and you are done. It is like nothing ever happened!
You can then, of course, go back to your personal journal and delete the mis-posted entry, if you want.
You should have seen me trying to post to my RPG community themidhavens the first time. I had a pile of hair on the floor a foot deep by the time I was done. I must have done the above copying and pasting a hundred

I had to laugh at this because the one ball game I went to this year was against the Blue Jays...and the Orioles beat them senseless. Sorry! :(

Before we had the Ravens, we had the CFL Baltimore Stallions! So I feel for you on that one!

Hehe, yes, I've seen them but also never tried them. They went to benefit his autism charity, I think, in honor of his son.
