No prob! It didn't even cross my mind that text-only would be bothersome to my critter-phobic friends, so I'll put all future bee-related posts under a cut. :)
I don't mind text about other sorts of bugs (I can't speak for other people, obviously), but I do literally mean phobic about bees. They're part of the reason I stopped spending so much time outside, and a small part of why I like colder weather. So even text gives me the urge to run away.
I empathize because I also have a for-real phobia (blood-injury). Once, an LJ friend used an icon of a stick figure banging his head on a keyboard, complete with the blood. It really bothered me, but I didn't say anything because I like to pretend I'm tough! :) But the fact that I still remember it, and the queasy feeling that went with it ... :^/
I'm glad you understand. Too often, when I say phobia, people just think run-of-the-mill fear because the word's overused. No-- I'm afraid of the oven (bit of a long story), but I'm phobic of bees/wasps/etc. Biiig difference.
Oh, I know which icon you're talking about. It's just… icky.
