Under the Weather

Jul 13, 2006 00:14

Tomorrow afternoon, I will be leaving for Ocean City for the weekend. I will drive home from work, my beloved will have returned to me, Potter will hopefully be there as well, we will get in the car, and go. So this is something of a farewell to most of you for the weekend, but I will return shortly, hopefully in better health and spirits and with ( Read more... )

I went and splashed in the ocean for you, then shivered and ran away because it was cold. I hope that will suffice? :)

Poor you... getting sick again. I do hope that be the time you read this comment you'll be feeling a lot better.

Would you believe that I've also started sneezing yesterday? And having this strange discomfort in my right ear, like there's water in it, or something? Today, though, I does not seem to be aggravating, so I might get away without having a full-blown cold.

Your idiot neighbours are just asking to be thrown out into the street with all of their belongings and their yapping dog. The might as well move back in the ghetto, since they can't live like civilized people. Do whatever you must and have them kicked out. *keeps fingers crossed for that*

Also, enjoy yourself as much as possible in Ocean City. It might not be Puerto Rico, but the familiarity of the place should add to the pleasure of spending the week-end there. Take lots of pics and I hope the weather will be wonderful, so you can spend a lot of time on the beach. *hugs*

I'm telling you, there's truth to the term "computer virus!" JunoMagic wasn't feeling well at the same time that I wasn't, and we'd been chatting the night before. It's a computer virus, I tell ya! :^D

Me too. Well, the community regulations are in our favor, and I don't think that we are unreasonable to ask for peace and quiet and hallways free of trash. Bobby and I are not unreasonable people, and we have been more than tolerant.

Also, enjoy yourself as much as possible in Ocean City.

I did, thank you! :) Despite being in pain for some of the trip because of my weird illness and a few overcast days, we had a great time. I have the post written, so the question becomes: Can I answer my comments and upload the pictures in a timely fashion? Otherwise, it will be posted tomorrow.

Whoa. That sounds like a weird illness. Kind of like a whirlwind flu or something. I hope you feel better.

Sounds like the neighbors have reached the point of no return, if they're dumping stuff at your door. Start documenting things, and then have a nice little chat with your landlord.

By the way, how is Reading Week? Have you discovered anything fabulous that I should read, too?

Awww...poor you! I hope that you have a wonderful weekend and that when you come back you can wage war on those assholes and get rid of them once and for all. Getting them turfed on the pot issue is..well..ya gotta do what ya gotta do when war has been declared!

P.S. Erm...I should have told you before this, but...didn't you want me to post the Sil synopsis to Henneth Annun this Sunday?

Did you forget to send it to me? I have not received it!

If you were planning to send it to me later, then please ignore this!

And again, go have a wonderful weekend!

Lol! Exactly! It's not even something that I would mind, if they were decent people, because I really believe that that sort of thing is everyone's own business. But so much of their lives inconvenience ours that I'm using whatever I can to get them out of here. We pay too much for this place to be picking up our neighbor's trash or leaving the apartment because we cannot bear their barking dog.

I do...now! It feels almost like when I had the shingles and half of my body felt like it was made of exposed nerves. But it's beginning to subside; it doesn't hurt to breathe anymore, which is a good thing. Brain like oxygen. ;)

Bobby's having a chat with them tomorrow when he turns in our new lease to find out what we need to do in terms of documentation. I don't think it will be a hard battle. Rare are the months when they do not have some form of late rent notice on their door. Big surprise there. But I figure the management will be glad to be rid of them.

By the way, how is Reading Week? Have you discovered anything fabulous that I should read, too?Reading Week has been postponed because--under the new Internet regulations at work--I can't ( ... )

*hugs* You already told me most of this, but still, I can't believe those people! At least my neighbors only do weird things like plant large trees right next to their house, and now they've roped off their front yard, but this amuses me. And their dog is nice.

Good luck getting them kicked out! Hopefully when you get new neighbors they'll be nice and clean and quiet.

Have fun at the beach! (Like I even need to say it!)

We did have fun! I was in agony for part of it with my weird illness and it was overcast and rainy for another part, but we still had fun, which further proves that the three of us--Bobby, Potter, and me--could have fun in a blank white room. :^P

*envies* Why, oh why, do my neighbors have to have a dog that resembles a white rat...a very noisy white rat? With bulging eyes? Am I being punished for some random transgression in a past life?? :^P

Eww, STDs strange illnesses. And rain. But hey, there's nothing wrong with being amused in a white room! ;)

If so, it must have been some awful deed. What did you do, refuse the Valar a silmaril? ;P
