Hee! I was thinking about this on the way home (as proof of what a geek I am) and decided that I think he's more of a Games Workshop nerd. After all, GW requires an interesting blend of artistic skill and bloodthirst for battle. And the not-so-nice-smelling nerds are very protective of their models. I was informed on one occasion that a guy "hated me" because I painted better than he did.
The only conundrum is that Feanor is hott and I've yet to meet a GW nerd who was hott. I think there's probably many more hott Trekkies than GW nerds.
Or perhaps Maglor's bed is simply "huge"?
My silly mind at the time was hung up on "ginormous." Which...no. :^P
Feanor and Melkor...I'd say "I think I read a slashfic like that once", but I think that if I ever found one, I ran away screaming.
*ahem* I have. *is depraved and admits it* But it was pretty awful. I read it out of sheer "OMG!" curiosity, I admit.
And Carnistir isn't doing the sufficing, the bed is. You have him as the subject of that sentence, which is why it's off.
I've decided to completely rewrite that sentence. The "aside" and all the funky punctation...it's a simple concept and needn't be expressed in such a complicated fashion.
