I shouldn't write this late at night o_O;
So, I had intended to have this long journal update thingy today... But ya. Now I'm here and trying to remember what all I had to say. Isn't is annoying how that happens sometimes? :\
I worked today, though. It was actually pretty nice. Busy, but not in a bad way. The day went fast and most of the customers were nice. That and I ran into Corey, who for ages was my best buddy out here. We lost touch shortly after Liam and I got engaged, but he and his fiance moved to Vancouver and I was busy with Liam and trying to get my shit together.. We just sorta lost touch. It was great to see them both today. I gave him my new number, too, so who knows! Maybe we can get together and catch up sometime. <3
That aside, I'm going in to get the tests done before I start my experimental drug trial this week.. I'm hella nervous about it actually.. Desi and/or mum are hopefully gunna be able to go with me, so I at least don't have to walk home after fasting for over 12 hours and then getting blood work done and shite. I really was hoping Liam would come, since I'm pretty scared, but... Alas, no luck there. :\ Damn his work!
Annnddd... Ya, aside from that, trying really hard to get my shit together with my art. It's kinda hard, though. I get frustrated so much when I see people who sketch better than I draw. *sigh* It's such a bummer. I want to be that good, too. :< And I have been lacking in good original ideas, which blows. As much as I love drawing art for the groups I'm in, I really do miss having an ass load of my own characters to goof around with. :P But ya, as most people know, I've been clowning around with my detective series lately. I'm starting to think making it comedic and parody-esque might be best. Especially since I've always loved writing comedy. Even if I don't usually do it unless I'm trying to amuse my friends. I guess it has been a while.. I miss writing my werid stories that way. Err, I used to write random ass stories in high school for the soul purpose of making my friends laugh.
