Things I am currently freaking out about:
-Not enough time
-Wasting time
-Having to ask my dad to make my car payment because of poor money management
-Aphids attacking my mini-garden
-What the hell I am going to be doing this summer. S-T-R-E-S-S. I had planned to be in Chicago this summer, but that didn't work out (and it is entirely my fault). I need an internship...a school schedule...a decent job...a project...something! I mustn't give up hope.
New and Continuing Projects:
-Post-Spring Break. On Monday afternoon I really, really wanted a beer...that isn't very good. Detox time, baby.
-Prision Industrial Complex awareness campaign...set for late April with the help of my girlpals Lydia and Tara, and the good ol' Mr. Raul Salinas.
-Death Anxiety in Death-Related Occupations Study. Also set to end in mid-April. Results should be interesting. Recent encounters with death and much too much time in funeral homes has left me wondering how people in death-related occupations deal with their own feelings of death.
-Research paper on ways grassroots organizations (and pretty much no one else in my knowledge) are working to improve the situation of violence against women in Mexico.
But if I am so busy why does it feel as if I'm doing nothing?
