I took a really half-assed approach to "finals" this year and I feel neutral about it. I kind of just wanted to see if I could do some mediocre studying (I usually go crazy for tests and big papers) and still get straight A's. Somehow I am quite certain that I will. But let’s not get cocky.
Today is my last day of work at the Dept. of Treasury and I am ever so excited. I met some really nice people here who I will miss, but I am definitely ready to move on to new and greater things. I applied for a PR internship at a place called MAP (media, audience, presentation) who does PR for democratic candidates and pays $2 less per hr than what I make now, but I'm positive is more exciting than my current job.
I started watching Me, You and Everyone we know last night, and WOW. I cannot wait to get home & finish it. Also, I got a vibrating neck pillow for X-mas which I am excited about for MULTIPLE reasons.
Eddie & Josh are coming to stay with me this weekend on their way to Houston. I have an orange couch with their name on it. Apparently someone who I will not name (you have a 50% chance of guessing, think skinny artist boy)is planning on a lushful binge this weekend...and I may have to partake. I'm hoping we get real drunk and start talking social issues and conspiracy theories. How much do you think I would have to pay Alex Jones to make an appearance at my house?
In other news, celebrity gossip has swallowed me whole thanks to bash-blogs. Thanks, Perezhilton.com. No seriously guys, you have to check this shit out. Also, for those of you who left your heart in New York city:
go here and be sad you can't afford to shop at Barney's.
