Obama won.
I'm not at all happy with this. They kept shooting to these groups of black folks jumping around and crying. I would be glad too, except part of me can't help but wonder how many people voted for him for that reason. That could be unfounded, but it's a question I'm experiencing, nonetheless.
I don't care that he's the first black president; I care that he's pro-abortion, gay marriage, and that his political "history" doesn't recognize economic factors that are important to me.
However, he is a leader that this country elected and wanted. In Romans we're commanded to respect all leaders because God has put them into that position. God has raised up a man that this country's heart wants, and I hope I can avoid that low road of president bashing and spend the time instead praying for him and my country, which I'm struggling to continue to love.
How do you feel about the election? I don't talk to nearly enough people :)
