Life continues...
Well, no news yet on changing my schedule. I'm still badgering (badger, badger, badger...) the guy at work who wants to leave, and whose shift I will subsequently be yoinking. If nothing continues to happen, I've thought about just taking a different security post somewhere else. I don't really like this idea, because my job is pretty sweet. But I'd rather have to work harder than to continue not ever seeing my friends. But, oh well... 'tis life.
My days off right now are Mon and Tue. Lately, I have been frequenting Renegade's on Tue night, for their drag show. However, the show gets boring pretty quickly, especially after several weeks in a row, and the music after the show is ... less than perfect. It is definitly better, though, after several rounds of jello shots. PLEASE.... if anyone knows of somewhere better to go on Mon or Tue nights, preferably someplace that has good music for dancing, help a poor deprived freak out. Consider it your good deed for the week Like helping an old lady cross the street. Or, if you can't help me, for the love of god, JOIN me, so I'm not alone with the bad dancing.
On the plus side, however, we usually have a pretty sweet after-party at my apt. *wink*
