Your local Garden Club has two events this week!
Wednesday - September 14th
Our Favorite Garden Tools and Tales
This roundtable-style meeting features Somerville Garden Club members telling their favorite garden stories and sharing their favorite gardening implements for a summer show-and-tell that is always enlightening and enjoyable. All Somerville Garden Club meetings are free and open to the public. 7-9pm. Meetings are usually held the second Wednesday of each month at the Tufts Administration Building, (TAB), 167 Holland Street, second floor, wheelchair accessible. Parking is available, and the building is a ten-minute walk from the Davis Square MBTA stop.

Somerville Garden Club Fall Plant Sale!
9am-1pm - rain or shine!
Statue Park, right in the center of Davis Square.
There will be hundreds of locally grown plants for sale. Garden Club members supply the plants from their gardens and greenhouses. Get great plants for your dorm, home or yard and help support the Garden Club.
Choose from hundreds of plants donated by both Somerville Garden Club members and community friends of the Club. Visit the Connoisseur Table for that unique specimen or find a tried-and-true favorite.

* Horticultural books, decorative containers, garden tools
* Sun & shade garden perennials
* Trees, shrubs, and groundcovers
This year we will also have field-grown hostas from Fox Hollow Farm in Huntington, NY.
Experienced gardeners will be available to answer questions and assist with plant selections. And the littlest gardeners will enjoy the Children’s Table.
