Graduation - copypasta'd from an email I just sent
Barring administrative problems or natural disaster, I will be graduating from SUNY Albany with a BS in Physics and Music in May. (What am I doing sending this out this early? Beats me, but mark your calendars now, because I doubt I'll remember to send it again.) If you wish to attend any ceremonies, all pertinent information (including directions and hotel info, if you're one of those crazy people who would be travelling) can be found here: http://www.albany.edu/commencement/
But to save you time and effort, here's what you probably need to know:
No tickets are required.
The small music dept. ceremony will take place Saturday, May 19th at 5:30 p.m. (inside, theatre, plenty of seats even with the combined departments)
Some "Torch Night" ceremony will take place Saturday, May 19th at 8:30 p.m. (outside, dunno about this one, but there'll be fireworks)
The main undergraduate ceremony will take place Sunday, May 20th at 10 a.m. (outside, rain or shine)
The small physics dept. ceremony will take place Sunday, May 20th at 1 p.m. (inside, relatively small room, show up early to get a seat)
Of course, if you want coherent/easy-to-find directions or anything else, just talk to me (Tim).
While I'll be happy to see anyone who shows up, the only people I'm /expecting/ to show up are my mom and dad.
