Well, contrary to all logic, I'm still alive. My engineering classes are like treading water two inches deeper than you are tall...it's difficult and merciless.
I'm behind on my writing, and still have the parental ban on said writing during the school week. The Gale Evenwood journal (
http://evenwood.livejournal.com) is also thus behind.
But, through the unholy power of birthday money and saving up for half a year, I made a few acquisitions to my anime collection:
•The rest of Doki Doki School Hours (a.k.a. Sensei no Ojikan, the one with Mika-sensei), four DVD's
•Kiddy Grade Box set-Totally awesome series, weird name.
•Maze-Megaburst Space Box set-Classic insanity.
•Silent Möbius-Blade Runner+Anti-demon police branch= ^_^ Great OP.
•Tenchi Muyo GXP! Box set-Shenanigans aside, it's canonical and has some big movers and shakers in the Tenchiverse. Distant relative of Tenchi and fellow earthling gets a 2nd Gen. Jurai ship (and a name upgrade to Kiriko Masaki Jurai). And a friend of Tenchi's, cursed with perpetual bad luck, ends up not only a fleet commander, bane of pirates everywhere, but gets an ancient mecha with a first generation Jurai ship seed powering it...thus getting him adopted into the Jurai royal family (Seina Yamada Jurai) and being in line for the throne just after Tenchi. 0_o;;
•Chrono Crusade Box set-Same great nun with a holy-aligned Colt M1911 flavor.
•Happy Lesson Box set-An interesting take on the harem genre, in which the main character is neither wimpy nor clueless. And he's sane. And featuring the chemistry instructor who walks on ceilings.
•Steel Angel Kurumi Box set-It's warm, fluffy, and excepting the lack of "-desu~!" after every sentence, the English voices are surprisingly good.
•Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi Box set-It's GAINAX, it's dimension sliding, and it's pretty darn cool.
•Angelic Layer-Say what you will about it being a kid's show, but face it. If the game were real, we'd both be playing it.
And as an added bonus, due to a sale, I got the first volume of Madlax thrown in for free. ^_^
So, in honor of a certain eight-inch tall blue persona, I present iconage. Animated, no less. From my own screenshots! Zounds! The official excuse for mysteriousness? "A Wizard Did It".
Well, I have things to do and realms to conquer. And thus,
