(no subject)
Ok, so it's been a minute since I've updated. Things have been crazy, but getting better.
I'll have Kelson back in a week and a half, and he'll be turning 4 on the 28th. Time flies when you're having fun, I guess. I think I'll be doing a Batman themed birthday, and his father will be doing Star Wars.. so he'll make out just the way he wanted. :)
I've heard from a few friends that a person I used to consider a friend is doing extremely well, and I'm very happy to hear that. I'm glad things are working out for everyone.
I am no longer at Southcrest. Long story. I won't talk about it here, but I have found employment elsewhere that will allow me to take off work to take Kelson to school. That's a major plus. He'll be starting this August or September.. whenever school starts.
My new boss reminds me (just a little) of the lawyer James Spader plays in the movie "Secretary" minus the spankings. If you haven't seen the movie, rent it. Very decent. Of course, I adore James Spader anyway. Jeremiah and Anne believe I spend my days being spanked by him, which in turn makes them laugh at the very thought. Not true. Not getting spanked. Sorry to disappoint. :(
There are some people I am concerned about. Sharla, I'm talking about you. I hope you keep your head up and congrats on your new car! You deserve it! :)
My mother starts her chemo Wednesday. She has to do both, chemo and radiation. That makes me sad, but I believe she will come thru all of this just fine. She'll start losing her hair by Friday. I've offered my hair, but I think she's going to buy her own wig. Besides, I don't think she likes red. I don't like thinking about it, but it's something that has to be dealt with. *sigh*
Well, that's about it. I'm the only one left in the office. I leave on 30 minutes, so I guess I will go around checking things. Perhaps smoke a cigarette.
