The school year has been going smashingly so far. I have great classes - albeit HUGE ones - and I am much more organized and mellow than I was at this time last year (let's face it, I was a basket-case last year at this time!). So, work is going well.
What I do feel the need to mention is that I can't get over how exhausted I have been feeling. I mean, I run out of energy so much earlier than I used to, and I would really like to be using the last hour or two before bedtime to get something productive done. I have to get rolling on my comprehensive exam projects - it's due at the end of October. I also have some organizational things I need to finish at school that are riding around in the back of my mind like a pile of dirty laundry lurking just out of view on the backseat of my car. Everywhere I go... I keep thinking about the exam. I need to knuckle down and get it done. I'd really like to get it done early, actually... maybe I should set a goal for that.
Anyway, I really only wanted to talk about my exhaustion. I hope it isn't caused by some of the blood test results my doctor talked to me about. My WBC count was low and my bilirubin was abnormally high, so she has me going in for an abdominal ultrasound this weekend to check my gall bladder. I wouldn't be surprised if something is going on with it, since I've had to pee about 3 times as often in the last year as normal. Although, I hear that's also a sign of aging, but for Pete's sake I'm only 29.
Time to get ready for bed.... I wanted to accomplish something before I went to sleep tonight, but I suppose I'll have to count writing a journal entry as my accomplishment. I need to rest up for my softball game tomorrow - filling in for a coed team.
