RAIN RAIN GO AWAY!
Dose any one want to go swimming? I got 6 inches of rain in my basement on monday night. The power went out at 9:45 and by 10:30 I had 6 inch 4 inches of water in my basement. I had to take off on Tues to clean up the basement. By 10 am the power was still not on so I had to run an power from across the street to a friend who had power. It took an hour to pump out the water and then an other hour to sweep and scrap out excess water from the carpet. I had a rug shampooer to suck out the remaining water but the motor blew on that after an hour. I had to make a quick run to Walmart and 179 buck later I had a new Bissel Shampooer to suck up the water. I finally finished around 5 and now have fan blowing trying to save the carpet. Thankfully I was home when the water was starting to come in and had time to get my poster and other items off the floor so I did not loose any thing that I know of. So if any one need to use a rug shampooer let me know I have a nice one.
