So supposedly, the Live Journal is what all the cool people have. I guess I've been significantly uncool for quite some time... until now.
Today is Easter... I woke up at 5:55 AM. I went to the Forest Lawn cemetery to direct traffic into parking spaces for a Easter Morning service. The reason for this is because I'm still somewhat active in my Boy Scout troop, but other life interests and priorities have overridden Boy Scouts... much to my acceptance.
I worked a closing shift last night at Anderson's... someone started a fire, got my pants covered in bleech... high fantastical.
My birthday was recent, March 10th... my most memorable birthday yet, it was really enjoyable. Enjoyable, yet, I received little to no birthday gifts from my friends. Well... Michelle Rott did make me brownies with peanut butter chips in them, that really made my day. I also got several cards from school friends. But as far as real gifts from my close friends... zero. The reason for this is most likely because I never had, and never will, have a birthday party... oddly enough, I'm not a strong believer in birthday parties, I'm sure you wouldn't expect that. I'd much rather my friends throw me a party then me do it for my self. My group of friends vary so much that I'd never be able to have a party where they would all feel comfortable around each other. And that is the main reason why I don't wish for a party this year. I know Sara's low on money right now, and plus she did buy me that fantastic dragon watch for Christmas... she can pass for now.
I have more to say, but it's Easter basket hunting time. I'm sure you all know that receives immediate priority. My sister's not here this year to search with me (keep in mind she's 23)... she's probably having a grand time in Florida right now. Oh.. wait... it's raining in Florida. I hope things turn out better for her... she deserves a break.
