Hello everyone. Hope your Mother's Day is going well. I am down in Ft Lauderdale with my parents.
Just finished playing Scrabble with my mom. She won (251-230). She tried saying that "VUE" was another way of saying "VIEW"...psh I called her out on that one for sure.
When I drove around my neighborhood, I saw a man mowing his lawn with just a T-shirt on and (maybe) underwear on. Did I mention that he was probably in his 60s/70s? It is kind of nice to be in a city that does not need a college in order for it to survive.
I also watched a view videos of when I was like 9 months. I rocked. I would play hide and go seek with my sister and she would always hide behind a curtain near the window A/C. Apparently, I loved that spot and would frequently go there.
Also, Christmas of 1989, my mom called me a faggot...though she spelled it out.
Dad (filming): Davie, go get on your bike.
Davie: No.
Mom: He's just being a...(noise interruption)...F-A-G-G-O-T.
I haven't mentioned it to her, but I think it's funny.
Oh, also, my parents used to call me D.J. I asked my mom about this and she said that they used to as a result of me being a Jr. (Davie Jr.---> D.J.?)
