We all need happiness in our lives. Sometimes, when we are depressed and feeling life is inadequate in giving us the needed satisfaction, I think its best to look to the simple things that can curl your lips into a subtle smile. The simplest of things can cheer you up; find things in your life that always make you feel good. These might be things you don’t notice in your everyday routine that gives you a moment of complacency. For instance, I love putting my feet by the foot heater in a car when I’m going somewhere; go on and laugh, but its sweet. Or maybe having your favorite candy, drink, show, ect. Just don’t hold on to the past, for thinking of good moments from prior events will only further seduce you to thinking you have no life anymore. Instead, make new memories that you can cherish later on in life.
And for all you people who live in your self-induced depression, its definitely time to grow up. You are nothing more than attention-craving, sympathy-wanting teenagers that think that acting all “I hate the world” cliché is cute and will make people feel bad for you. Are you kidding me? If you only knew how pathetic you look, especially the ones who have recently found “emo” music or turned gothic. Call me a stereotype, I could really give a shit less; but at least I can look in the mirror and like myself for who I am and not who I’m acting like. I don’t need to act depressed to draw attention. And none of this bullshit about how “my parents hate me”. Because they do care regardless of how they show it. I wont even start about the “Gansta Rap” kids.
Again, on a lighter note, I am seriously thinking about starting a band. It will probably be rock/punk, and if you show the slightest of interest, just let me know. And my “Livestrong” bracelet is still missing, lol. Wtf is up with that?
