Check out my new icon. Also, I just got two 90s french house albums for a total of $7.50. Cassius - 1999. Daft Punk - Homework. Yea, I never owned that. Their both really awesome. Not poppy at all. Fuckin raw. Like the raveish event last night. Repetition/meditation/sleeping while standing/loud/two notes in the bass/samples/french sound/deep purple/dreaming while living/.
The celebration was awesome. Forrest Smith the history man was a fellow judge and that was nice cos he's such a groovy guy. While I was sitting up in the tower in a dress, coach Arik came by in the crew float (which wasn't actually a float) and gave a little head-shaky-shaky cos he thought I was a fairy or something.
The afternoon didn't exist.
Eleven Eyes was playing and they're amazing, but I didn't get to watch them for long, cos the rnrs's were coming on. they were great. I love being in a crowd like that. I just wobble all over the place, and everyone feels so good, and it's nice to help people up to crowd surf, cos I liked when a big dude did that to me when I was little. I surfed and the security guy said "no" and did the hand-shaky-shaky cross over; I apologized, but he didn't care becase he's seen so many troubles in this world. It was pretty easy to get back to my spot after being led to the back of the crowd. I just wended like hell. wend wend.
CPD next. They were playing Metropolis on the screen--that was such a wondeerful surprise; I love silent film. Watched and swingdanced. but not really, cos it's difficult. Ariana and I just got into swingdancing position and moved our feet sporadically.
Rave. Juice bar. This time was good. The music was awesome house. Not poppy at all. Fuckin raw. Slept like a log. Fucking school is tomorrow. I'm gonna drop physics--it's my least foavorite class of all time.
