I went to Firstone to get an oil change, but sadly forgot to ask thm if the price they quoted me was the final price or just the beginning price. I ended up paying 52 for an oil change. The wanted me to pay about 1900 to fix everything they wanted to fix on the car not counting labor, and about 700 of that would be what they wanted to do for the brakes. Then I went to a Discount Tire and was advised about 480 for all the brake work counting labor. I told them, I would get back to them as that still is a big investment.
Doctor was part of the plan, but that did not happen due to really was done getting bad news in one day. Now, just working to enjoy the time I have left of my day off before back to work tomorrow.
