Rate David's Guest Appearance on Idol!
Please go to the official American Idol website and take their Season 11 survey. (Scroll through the highlights at the top to find the link.) We want Idol to keep bringing David back each year, so make sure you support him and let the production team know that he is a valuable guest performer and that you'd definitely tune in if he was on the show!
Personally, I ranked all of the performances by prior Idol contestants really high. I wish Idol would do a better job of promoting within the Idol family, and having more of them on instead of pop acts who already have enough publicity would really benefit the show and past contestants, IMO.
I also added that David and other former contestants should be brought on as guest mentors instead of Jimmy Iovine's random celebrity buddies. Becoming a pop star through Idol is a really weird thing (most contestants call it the "Idol machine" for a reason), so I wrote that having more prior contestants as mentors would be far more beneficial to current contestants. (I name-dropped David here, too.)
But that's just me. At the very least, it's a good idea to rank David's guest performance really high. :)
