I'm about 80 pages away from the end, and so far it's turning out to be my favorite one. The fourth book runs a close second for me, but I was very pleasantly surprised with how well this one developed and played out. I'm just about to go finish it, so I'll give you my definitive opinion on it in a bit.

Ok, just finished. It's definitely my favorite. Downer of an ending, but it sets up nicely for the finale in number seven. I just hope Harry dies while taking down Voldemort. It needs to end that way.

Its a really good one. Its my second favorite. AAAAAANNNND. i GUESS the ending had to happen like that. even though thats sucks for harry. I really liked it though. And im excited about reading the seventh. but i dont think harry should die. THAT WOULD SUCK. Only because all these people have died in his life and he is basically fighting for them. ANNNDDD he is supposed to be better than voldemort because he can love. And if he dies, what does that say about the ability to love...huh? what? lol. but yes, great book. MUUUUUUUUCCCCCCHHHHH better than the one before it. I hated that one because my favorite character died!

I think Harry should die taking down Voldemort. Everyone knows Voldemort is a more powerful wizard than Harry. So if Harry was able to take him down, even if he himself died, that'd still show that love can make one more powerful than they normally would've been. Besides, that'd be the ultimate loving sacrfice, so it'd say a lot for his nobility too. That and I just think it'd give the series good closure. We'll see though. She seems to be killing off increasingly major characters with each book. Cedric Diggory, Sirius Black, Dumbledore. If the pattern continues, Harry's next.

that makes sense and he is never going to be normal after this I mean his whole life really revolves around revenge and after killing two people things arnt going back to normal.

Exactly. The entire series has revolved around him getting revenge. Even his future plans of becoming an auror revolve around getting even with Voldemort. So once he takes down Voldemort, it doesn't really leave him with many options. Besides, you're right. After all he's been through, he wouldn't be able to live a normal life.

that and its kinda do or die at this point because by leaving that rules out being an auror so theres no need for him to live afterward. but then again does j.k. rowliing have enough guts to kill off the main character I mean she is going to die if she kills off harry potter.

That's a good question. I guess we'll find out just how much guts she has when she releases the next book. Personally, I think she'd do it.
