Updates...

*First and foremost, I feel that it's important to say for anyone who might not know, that the Buick is gone and out. This is old news but the first LJ update in a while so I'm mentioning it bitches! I now have a pretty tight Camry, paid off. All the memories are priceless and I will miss the Buick, but I'm so fucking happy to have a new car!

*I graduated with a degree in Communications-Electronic Media/Broadcasting in December. It feels great to never have to worry about pointless reports, research papers, classes, tests and FUCKING GROUP PROJECTS( I will never miss those)! The down side of all this of course is I am now officially in the world of find a job and pay your bills. But that's my biggest complain.

*I'd like to also throw it out there that I have officially become obsessed with Lupe Fiasco on an Eminem-type level. The way I view the progression of Hip-Hop in my life-time is that Tupac and BIG ruled the game for the early nineties, Hova and Nas carried the game to the new millenium, and the most recent throne holders slightly overlapped the Nas and Hova era making this couple of years (approx. 1997-2000)the most exciting, in my opinion. These new throne holders were off course Outkast and Slimshady. They continue to carry the game and it appears that we are in transition and experiencing another overlapping period of great music. After this overlapping period the next king of hip-hop will be Lupe Fiasco. No one has sounded so different and maintained legend type talent level since Eminem!

*On a similiar note, I would do absolutely anything for the following collaborations:

1. Eminem and Lupe Fiasco
2. Eminem and Outkast
3. Eminem and Ludacris
4. Lupe and Nas
5. Eminem and Lil' Wayne
6. Lupe and Outkast
7. Wu-Tang and Eminem or Outkast or Lupe or Nas or Jay-Z

Those are just off the top of my head and as usual, musically I have Eminem and Lupe on my mind :)
