update time
I've found myself sitting in front of the computer, so I decided I need to give everyone an update on what's been happening with me lately. First off, I got promoted to doing suspension and alignment work 2 weeks ago. It's been a nice change of pace, and the raise in income has been much help, along with the reduced workload from my previous position of replacing tires and doing minor maintenance. I'm hoping to get some savings re-established soon so I can get some things I've been wanting for a while, like a new pair of skis for instance. After not skiing at all last season, which I regret, I definitely need to get back into it. Especially if I'm going to be attending FSW this winter, which is pretty likely at this point in time.
The housing situation has been working out well, and we just got a new TV a couple weeks ago to compliment the TV stand that the place had when we moved in. It's an LG 42" LCD with a 120hz processor. The clarity on it is awesome, and action looks pretty realistic. Soon, we will have a nice 5.1 stereo to go along with it, most likely with Polk Audio components. It'll definitely make the living room a much better place to relax. The roomies have been easy to get along with, and everyone contributes to keeping the place nice, which has been welcome compared to the situation when I was living in Denver.
The only thing negative to report on is my car, which was the unfortunate victim of an accident caused by a teenage girl turning left from a parking lot without looking... right in front of me. I slammed on the brakes, but was too close to completely avoid collision, and the left front corner of the WRX took a good hit. Headlight, fender, bumper, hood, the unibody and the radiator support all got messed up :( I've already made the insurance claim... here's to hoping that it can be fixed within 2 weeks because I was planning on taking it on a trip up to Glenwood Springs for Labor day weekend.

Now it's time to go fold some laundry, as the dryer just finished :P
