Changes may be on the horizon

I've been needing a change around here lately... the job I have now isn't working out like I had hoped, and my rent doubled from before, so... it's been kinda tight here lately. Although, this morning, I have the opportunity to change that, by doing well in the interviews to go back into being an electrician. It's not something I'd prefer, but I do have a fair amount of experience, it pays a lot better than what I get right now, and I should be able to obtain a license relatively fast. All good things. Besides, the labor I'd be doing would help me get in better shape, the normal work week is 7am to 5:30pm four days a week, and overtime if I ever wanted it. Which I anticipate doing often. I've set some goals for myself for the remainder of the year, ones that I should be able to accomplish: Getting a license, a better car, new skis, a season pass to the local resort, and some stuff for around the apartment, like a TV, decorations, etc. Today is the day to make my goals a distinct possibility. I'm going to go do it. I'll let everyone here know how it all went tonight or tomorrow. Wish me luck. :)

Also, you may have noticed my new icon, which comes from this cool art that my friend Leo whipped up. It's pretty tight, if you ask me. Anyway, my friend has been in a bit of a rough situation recently, regarding continuing education and money. It's a frustrating situation to be in, for sure, so I decided to help him out a bit by commissioning his artistic ability, and that piece is what he came up with. Definitely well worth the money spent. The idea sprung from his creative mind after I linked him up with a couple of tekfox mixes. I definitely can't complain. :)

So, since my friend Leo is in a bit of a tight spot, I'm going to ask whoever would like some quality art to please commission him. He's wide open for accepting commissions, communicates well and is relatively fast, it only took a week and a half for him to finish mine. It sucks to be in a situation where you have to decide between bills and food, so if anyone could spare the money to help out a friend, I'd greatly appreciate it. :) You can find his FA page here.

Now it's time to go get ready for that first interview, so, everyone have a good beginning to the week, and take it easy :)
