Tolerance

A lot of us need to work on Tolerance-myself included.

Many issues have arisen since I've arrived at Eastern, this is among those. From a friend getting pinned under a football goal post, to gossipy people, to slower people, whatever- have you ever stopped to think what it would be like if we were all more accepting & appathetic?

What is tolerance?
Tolerence doesn't mean that you neccissarily agree with someone or something, but you are able to accept it and give others room for being different. Furthermore, being different doesn't translate being "weird". To be different is to accent your individuality and diversity and to celebrate your role in society and life. Thus, tolerance is the ablility to co-exist with those who are of diverse backgrounds and as a community form a bond of mutual respect.

How to know if you're tolerant.
It's a test. One can never truly know if they are tolerant unless placed in a specific situation and you can categorize your thoughts and or behaviors. However, one is intolerant seldom realizes that is as such.

Are you tolerant?
