I don't know if I like this or not. On the one hand, I'm all for free public transportation. On the other hand, though, it's not METRO's fault that people decided to swarm DC on that particular weekend. It would not be unreasonable to say that free public transportation was available on a first come, first serve basis as long as the normal amount of traffic could easily be covered.

I just find it ironic that he is complaining about this tax supported service not b3eing able to meet the demands put on it by tax protesters. Obviously the solution is that we need to increase taxes meet the needs of these tax protesters.
