I just don't know what's cool
Call me old-fashioned, but I like the crotch of my pants to be, well, somewhere near my crotch. Hence the name.
And when I wear shorts, I expect them to be, well, shorter than my jeans. Hence the name.
I remember back in the late 90s when some of the crotches in pants made it down to the knees for a short time. I guess the guys born in the 80s were so much better endowed that they needed more swing room or something. But I just went to the local gas station to get some tater chips, and there was a black kid there with his basketball shorts down to just above his ankles. Of course, there was a good reason for his shorts to be that long, if they were more than 2 inches shorter, they would have been a skirt.
I really don't care what someone considers stylish, but that's just dumb.
