A delusion
I have a delusion I entertain from time to time. The fact that I know it's delusional is probably a good sign that I am retaining some sort of sanity.
I enjoy the idea that there is some sort of conspiracy in effect, helping me to succeed in my plans. Not just the ones for world domination either, but when someone helps me out with a project, becomes part of our odd "Art family" or lends a hand in the place I least expect I mentally smile and add them to the conspiracy.
It's the inverse of paranoia and I find the world far more enjoyable when I think of it that way.
