House Hunting Continues

Took a lot of homes off the potential list.

1st off I almost need to take all bungalows off the list. Nearly all of them have such low ceilings that I can barely stand up straight, let alone lift my arms very high. And since the upper level in the master bedroom it makes it tough.

The list narrowed fast, the best house was just too close to M-59 and the road noise was very loud, way above white noise level. One was okay on the inside, but no garage, basement, fence. It is on the maybe list but I wasn't thrilled.

What was left was one I didn't get to see the inside of, but I liked the location, the yard, and the way it looks on the outside. The other was nice but has a few issues. It is a flip, someone bought it in Nov 08 for 40K, added windows and redid the kitchen very nice, painted it and slapped 100K price. I am okay with someone try to make a bit of a profit, but I don't think they put much more then 10 to 15K into the place. The other issue is the 2nd floor has no heating and cooling vents, add to this the fact that it needs a new furnace and probably central air at the same time. It is not worth 100K as it is.
