Daydreams of Billly Volek (not really)
Yo! Dave! Why do think the Chargers have better chance with Volek than with Rivers?
The short answer is very short= NO FILM. They have no film of Volek. In two years with the Chargers, he has played in 6 games, attempted twelve passes, and completed four of them for a whopping ten yards. So much of NFL game preparation is studying film, but there is no film of Volek. Yet, we know he has talent from his time in Tennessee. Oh, he's not great, but the Pats have nothing to work from as far as tendencies or gameplan. Of course, Belichick is the master of halftime adjustments, but the Chargers could have a pretty good first half if Turner comes up with a creative gameplan for Volek. Or they could drag Rivers out, get him hurt and end up in a big hole.
