Rising from the ashes of a fried hard drive comes....Week 6 Power Ratings!
The ratings predicted 12 winners, missing on Arizona-Seattle and Jacksonville-Cincy. That's straight-up, not against the line. I stopped checking the record versus the spread because it was too depressing.
Last week, I wondered how good the Giants really are. I think we're starting to find out. They are not exactly frauds, but we also shouldn't be talking about admitting them to Canton as a unit.
It's not weird to see Todd Collins at a Chiefs game. It is weird to see him both in a Redskins uniform AND actually on the field.
How dysfunctional are the Redskins? The front office is now dictating to who will be calling the offensive plays. The choice? Sherm Lewis, who had been calling BINGO at a senior center in Detroit. He had been brought in two weeks ago as a consultant, not a coach. This tells me that the ownership has no faith in any of the coaches. If they did, Snyder would have fired Zorn and promoted somebody else. It's a no-win for Zorn. If things turn around, then it's because Lewis (not Zorn) knows what he is doing. If things don't turn around, then it's Zorn's fault for being a terrible head coach.
Enough rambling, here are the ratings.
