BACKSTREETS BACK!
I think it's safe to say that August 4, 2005 was the greatest night of my life.
It pretty much started with me and Kayleen getting the most snacks in the world to chomp on the way to Darien Lake. Then we're finally in Kayleen's van, rocking out to BSB on the way. We get there and after the longest walk ever we follow the yellow brick road (looooove Otis) and get to the concert area. Kayleen makes friends right away with the guy who was selling shirts, who said that Kayleen and AJ would make a cute couple. So we go to find our seats and Kayleen makes yet another friend who shows us the direction of our seats and says "They'll be able to see you." So after we peed our pants we went to our seats.
They were good seats but not as good as they should've been considering WE WERE FIRST IN LINE!
So after the opening acts, this video comes on and I get a little teary eyed because I have not seen these boys in concert since 2001 and I am just so excited. I grab Kayleens hand and see up on stage there's all this smoke and fog and through that I can make out five bodies. They start off with the call and we're all shaking our booties. Then they sing beautiful woman and Nick goes soooo crazy. And the girls in front of us we're super annoying and the one blonde girl turned around and said "he needs to take his clothes off." I think she was talking about Nick and that made me like her for 2.5 seconds until it made me mad because Nick Carter only takes his clothes off for one person and it's not her. And the really fat annoying girl screams "I LOVE AJ!" and I thought Kayleen was going to shoot her. They were fine during the concert though because two of them weren't even there half the time. They were getting drinks and smoking. Classy.
I don't think the Backstreet Boys have ever looked cuter than they did last night. Nick played guitar. Wowowowowowowowowowowowow. That's all I can say. And he was wearing a chain on his jeans and he spun it around and did all these other things to make me wanna lala. I went soooooooo crazy whenever they showed Nick on the big screen or whenever he started singing and my throat hurts really bad right now and my voice is slowly going. Kayleen sounded sooo funny after the concert because her voice was pretty much gone.
Afterwards, me, Lauren, and Melissa went up to Tim Hortons and talked about how Kayleen would really make AJ laugh and how they would just be perfect for each other. We also talked about Nick Carters great looks. And how Brian waved at Melissa? On the walk home, these guys tried talking to us.
GUY: Hey. How you girls doing.
ME: Good. How are you?
GUY: Good. What are you ladies doing tonight?
ME: Well, we just got back from the backstreet boys concert so we're probably gonna go home now and wet our pants.
Then the car like sped away? Hmm, wonder why.
I just want a big group hug with me, Kayleen, Lauren, and Melissa because I shared the greatest night of my life with them.
