So there's a possibility that I may lose the sight in my left eye. It's handy having a friend who owns a glasses place, and also knows craploads about the eye for obvious reasons. He told me that there's a 70% chance that the dark spot I've been seeing is just a "floater". Lots of people have them but never really notice them because it's generally hard to see. Then there's the ever so wonderful 30% chance that it could be one of the many eye diseases which I'm so suseptable to because of my extremely sensitive photophobia. But from what I described to him it sounds a bit like one of the different cataracts.
So there's a 30% chance that I'll be fucked over with my photography in most aspects. I have to wait to find out when I can see my optometrist at home, if I luck out I'll get in to see him next friday. Then I just get to have a bunch of tests done.
I don't like 30%. It's too good of a chance, especially the way things have gone for me the past little while.
