I was meant to do a couple of visits today but decided to move them forward. I just did not feel like doing so today. So after midday, I popped into town to sell some paperbacks and received six quid, which I then used to get some food, an LP for £2, and more specifically, this item from a charity shop for two pounds -

After the horrible wet rainy day yesterday, we have lovely sunshine again. I have already been out to town this morning to pick up a CD tower that I bought from Oxfam yesterday for a mere three quid!

Another piece of furniture was going to be thrown out by the builders who have been upgrading the building here in Waterstone Place. I was informed by other residents in the common room today that the piece of furniture would have been thrown out tomorrow and knowing I was the techy guy thought of me. Aha,that book case which was in the community room i wanted has now been snagged. Just washed it down with soapy water as it was caked in dust,and next will need a polish before it is filled.Otherwise ,a fine addtion to the room.
