Tuesday Thoughts
Well, I was supposed to see the nurse this morning for a re-dressing on my leg. They apparently sent an SMS message to say that the person seeing me was ill and my appointment was cancelled. I did not receive the SMS text message. So, I walk in for a 10:30 appointment unaware of it.
I was quite angry when I heard this and had to rebook it for the following Tuesday.
The weather was overcast but warm, yet not as gloriously sunny as Monday. I had lunch in Spoons with gammon eggs and chips with mushrooms and peas.
This evening my large bookcase in the lounge had one of its shelves fall. This was due to the weight of vinyl on that particular shelf. I have ordered a collapsable fabric-based LP storage unit that holds up to 80 albums from Amazon. It will arrive on Thursday.
The vinyl records are okay. They are in an upright position on the floor in a few piles. The way forward may be one of these record cubnes that are advertised on the site.
