Sunday Slouching

Jun 02, 2024 15:25

Finally, a day that you call a summer day. The temperature reached a lovely 23 C in my sweet spot. Definitely a day for a T-shirt off and the sunshine hitting my naked upper torso.

Blue skies abound and I had three hours of sunbathing, which is enough for one day.

Just had lunch which was a very tasty cottage pie.

I woke up early and listened to some of my new CDs from recent deep dives into charity shops and independent record shops that deal with second-hand stuff.

On the record front, I managed to talk to one of the new owners of Creekside Vinyl. They will open in four weeks and keep it as a record shop, not just selling new stock but second-hand as well, and that is where I think Simon, the previous owner, failed, he only sold expensive new stock.
That was excellent news to my ears. I am already sorting out stuff to part exchange when they open.
