i don't remember a specific question, but they used to assume i was a hick when i said i was from Oklahoma...maybe stereotypes from the musical...they rehashed them in the movie Twister, too. for a long time, i had an aversion to all things "cowboys and indians" as a reaction to that. i grew up in a university town. i literally was surrounded by academics since infancy, since my mom worked there. i don't like Georgia, where i am now, so i usually preempt questions by telling people to not come here. 😒 as for what i do, most dismiss me once they know i am a delivery driver for an autoparts place because they consider it beneath them. others ask why i would want to do work involving cars since i am female. (i needed a job, and it was a subject i could learn a lot about. but, i am leaving it now, partially because they are sexist and won't let me advance beyond being a delivery driver even though i have increased my knowledge about car parts

How long have you been in business? They're always astonished when I say since the mid-1980's because it's a long time for a specialty store like mine.

There are some scenes in "2001 - A Space Odessey" that still come to mind after all of these years.

What topic could you give a 20-minute presentation on without any preparation?

Unfortunately, I could give a long presentation and discussion about the "Final Solution" of WWII.
