Cold Meat Lunch

Once again we had cold meat cuts for our late lunch or early dinner. This time we had some Idahoan mash potato with the cold meats. Also a range of chutney to go with the meats.It was very filing,esp. the pork pie.

I did not know Idaho potatoes went that far afield! We are close to Idaho so always get good potatoes at the market for cheap.

So, the cold pork pie. I assume that's ground-up, seasoned, and re-shaped pork before it's enclosed in pastry? I can't really tell from the photo.

Our fridge is full of leftover Christmas ham right now. WAY too much ham. I'm not anti-ham by any means, but eating it for more than two days in a row has my body inflating like a Macy's parade float.
