Saturday Morning Thoughts
I arrived home at around three in the afternoon. I unloaded my suitcase and put clothes into a wash bag to do over the weekend. I then set up the Apple Mac and connected it to the hifi so that I could watch YouTube or TV shows in hifi sound.
I then had a filling chicken dinner dish washed down with cider before watching the latest episode of Picard. I watched some episodes of Enterprise as well, before coming very tired, and thus, I went to bed very early. I did not bother doing anything else computer-wise and had a wonderful nights' sleep.
I had a wonderful four day trip staying with my brother. We had some interesting talks and also about his new will and powers of attorney, and what form `I would , if any, want to take on, so yeah ,some serious shit as well.
Anyway, I will not be able to meet him again till May. We have penned in a lunch club visit late May.. with my mate Phil joining us. Mike is having a company to redo the front facade of his property in early May anyway. We had planned the lunch club to be between our respective birthdays - his on the 9th and mine on the 15th. We have now tentatively penned it for the 19th.
My brother seems to be taking things better now after the funeral. He has his moments but then the heartache never goes away really. He is very slowly beginning to read again, which is a good sign, a copy of Len Deighton's "The Ipcress File" , a book he has not read since the sixties. Even Riley is becoming closer to Mike. The cat was very close to Rosalind. So, at least, there is less to be concerned about, despite that it never leaves my mind. The concern for my brother is still there.
Anyway, putting that worry to one side, I have a busy working week ahead to keep me very occupied.
